Creative Access

Creative Access is a social enterprise providing career-long access, opportunities, support, and training for people from under-represented groups, to make the creative industries reflect our diverse society.

Why did Creative Access approach us?

Creative Access approached People Management Partners after they had grown to 25 members of staff. They wanted internal HR documentation and practices that were as strong as their mission. They wanted to work collaboratively with someone to create standard HR policies and procedures, support people managers when needed and act as a main point of contact for any queries from staff.

How do we work with Creative Access?

Creative Access is signed up to our HR Partnership service.

They have an assigned CIPD-qualified HR professional who acts as an integral part of the organisation providing strategic and operational HR support and advice. They are also supported by our HR support team for the management of their day-to-day people processes.

At the start of our partnership, we worked with the senior leadership team to develop an engaging induction process to support the onboarding of new team members and implement HR administrative processes to support the requirements for new starters. We also made changes to terms and conditions, leavers documents and preparation of any information related to these processes that needs to be submitted to payroll.

The Result

Creative Access experienced a number of significant positive outcomes as a result of our partnership. Onboarding, the resolution of HR issues and their team’s well-being and development all improved as a result of working with a People Partner.

Having a People Partner has also freed up time for CEO, Bibi Hilton, who previously managed these aspects herself. Now, Bibi can focus her attention on other areas of the business knowing confidently that the business has strong HR processes in place.

Today, People Management Partners and Creative Access continue to work closely together through the HR Partnership service.
