Getting back to business

How will your business recover from the coronavirus pandemic?

Most people have spent the last few months trying to work out how to survive lockdown. For small business owners, the challenge was (and is) hyper personal – their livelihood and that of their staff relies on their business’ ability to ride this storm. How would their business survive with, in some cases, an almost blanket lockdown? The overused “unprecedented” seems the only possible description for the situation.

For all of us, Covid-19 has meant applying social distancing (a challenge for individuals and business alike). For many businesses it has meant temporarily downsizing, even closing, and/or using the government furlough scheme to cover salary costs.  We’ve seen some businesses try to hold firm. Making changes to their offer. Identifying new service lines. Operating as normal (albeit remotely).  There have even been businesses with products and services in such great demand they’ve had to scale up at in record time.

Different businesses, many in the same situation, are thinking how do we get back to business as usual? Each will have its own challenges specific to their business type.

We have put together a free checklist to help you start thinking about how you can get back to business. Download it here.
